If you’ve been to a car show on the East Coast lately, you’ve probably seen the MotorCrush GTR, driven by 5-time Daytona 24 Hour race winner, multi-time road racing Champion, and ALIVE cofounder and partner Andy Lally. Car enthusiasts have been flocking to the MotorCrush car to check out the modifications and find out what all the fuss is about.
Although this 2009 Nissan roars through 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and through the quarter mile in 10.8 seconds, this GTR is primarily a “track car.” It’s the modifications to the MotorCrush GTR that amp up the performance even further for regular track use.
The MotorCrush car, owned by ALIVE partner David Atadan, has been tuned up with a Cobb Accessport tuner . The aerodynamics are world class—kanards, side skirts, a front splinter and wing. Engine performance is optimized with upgraded intercoolors and a Greddy transmission cooler and much more.
When Andy’s ripping around the track, Sparco 6-point harness racing belts keep him secure in the Bride racing seats. Other modifications include the bolt-in half cage, rear sway bars, AP Rotors and Endless brake pads.
And the Suntek Carbon 18% tinted windows, the HKS titanium exhaust, and the MotorCrush wrap complete the look that’s been getting all the attention.
Jtune Performance gets credit for most of the mods, along with Designer Wraps of Glassboro, NJ.
