Model T Restoration Program: Ignition - Electric

Car Show

The Vintage Sports Car Club of America is the oldest club in the country that celebrates historic and vintage racecars. The VSCCA seeks to preserve these cars of the past and to honor their history and their use. Members not only cherish these wonderful survivors but also to exercise them on the racetrack, compete in road rallies and to climb mountains as quickly as possible. Founded in 1958, the original members had long been active in the early road racing but grew disillusioned as the focus turned away from the cars and toward increasingly professional competition. Originally pre-war cars were the focus but the sports cars of the early fifties were made welcome. Over time a calendar of VSCCA club events evolved that included low key wheel to wheel racing and other events. This year also marks the 60th anniversary of the club’s signature event, the Mount Equinox Hill-climb in Vermont, truly an event with romantic ambiance. These are special cars with unique and important histories celebrated with the motto. Exhibit runs from Nov 3, 2018 - March 24, 2019.
