CAR OF THE WEEK

1956 Chevrolet 3100 owned by Ryan Glantz.

The 1950s was a different era in car design. The United States was the world’s largest automotive manufacturer and cars became ingrained in American culture like never before. Chrome was the hot ticket item, covering trim and bumpers across the country. Other design attributes included large fenders, skinny wheels, wrap around windshields, and long swooping body lines. Ryan’s 1956 Chevrolet 3100 is the perfect embodiment of this 50s era styling with a bit of a modern touch: a 383 stroker made by West Coast Engines and some meaty tires to put that power down. This car is truly a sight to behold. Luckily, Ryan has a full photo gallery of his gorgeous truck, so make sure you pay his MotorCrush profile a visit and drop him a like!

MOD OF THE WEEK

Custom vinyl graphics on a 2012 Dodge Charger owned by Jacob Ronda.

Jacob self-installed custom vinyl graphics on both sides of his charger that span from the rear quarter panels to the front fenders. The graphic he used depicts a storm trooper shooting his blaster toward the front of the car. It looks pretty awesome! We highly recommend paying Jacob’s profile a visit to see his full build.

CAR BIO OF THE WEEK

“Currently a bone stock Si. It’s my first car and I’ve had it for just over a year since I bought it from Hendrick Acura Overland Park in April 2017.”

– Paul Smokorowski on his 2010 Honda Civic Si.

Thank you for sharing your bio with us, Paul! The Civic Si is a very solid choice for a first car. Under the hood you’ll find a 2.0 L four-banger that puts out 197 hp and 139 lb-ft of torque. Its power resides at the top of the rev range near its impressive 8,000 rpm redline. To put the power down, the engine is matted to a 6-speed manual transmission with a helical limited slip differential linked to the front wheels. Thanks to its drivetrain, the Si is quick and nimble through turns, which will be sure to please the boy-racer within. With Honda being known for their outstanding reliability, the Si should please your bank account as well. Make sure to give Paul a like for sharing his sweet ride!

DRIVER BIO OF THE WEEK

“If it moves, I’ll mod it.”

– Mike Rodriguez

Now that’s the attitude we like to hear at MotorCrush! Modifying a vehicle can be very enjoyable and even therapeutic for some. Whether you’re adding some decals or a turbo system, there is nothing better than giving personality to your ride. Make sure to pay Mike’s MotorCrush profiles a visit to see what he’s modifying today!

PIC OF THE WEEK

2013 Subaru Impreza WRX owned by Matthew Hutton.

Checkout this hawk eye WRX in its natural habitat as it descends a gravel-lined mountain road. The car grins with content as it looks over the next stretch of road to conquer. What a great shot of your ride, Matthew! We’re glad that you were able to take a break from tearing up the countryside to capture this breathtaking scene. If you enjoyed this photo, visit Mathew’s MotorCrush profile to see the rest of his awesome gallery.
