This beautiful purple 200SX has dominated the top spot on the trending feed all week. The car is owned and drifted by UK based MotorCrush user, JaimeS13. As you can guess, this is not your stock 200SX: it has a host of aftermarket upgrades to make it a proper drift car. It has so many upgrades that Jaime would “be here all day” listing her mods, so if you have questions, make sure you hit her up via MotorCrush chat. While you’re there, make sure you stop by her gallery for some awesome shots of the 200SX tearing up the drift circuit. FEATURED BUILD OF THE WEEK

2010 Vauxhall Astra MK5 Widebody
Owned by That_Widebody_Astra

LAST ACTIVE IN: England

DRIVER BIO: “United Kingdom North West.
Motorsport Engineering Student
MK5 Vauxhall Astra SRi Rocket Bunny Kit
Follow the Astra build on Instagram @rally_astra.”

VEHICLE BIO: “The Astra was bought in November of 2015 and is known by people who know the car as “Vera”. The car was bought whilst I was still 16 from the money I had saved from working at a care home the second I could get a job. It was box standard with a small 1.4 engine to be used as a learner car and a way to travel to college 42 miles there and back. The early days featured a go faster side stripe and fox race assassin alloys. The major upgrades came in March 2018. After leaving college with an Aerospace extended diploma I started to work at Rolls Royce PLC and soon saved enough money to buy a rocket bunny kit and VXR bits n bobs. The car was also resprayed to remove all of the embarrassing learner mistakes and the cheap alloys were replaced with Borla B1 19×9.5j alloys. It remains in this build state but needs a Z20LET to match the power with the looks. However future modifications are on hold for the second car and due to lack of funds while I complete my degree in Motorsport engineering.”

UPGRADES: Inphase audio system, Energized Customs suspension, custom Borla B1 18×9.5j wheels, rocket bunny widebody kit, Recaro VXR half leather seats, and a custom interior.

BUILD STATUS: Work in progress

TRANSMISSION: F17 manual

MILAGE: 100,000

QUARTER MILE TIME: 18.05

Meet Vera, a widebody Vauxhall Astra owned by one of our UK-based users. MotorCrush’s US enthusiasts may not be familiar with the Vauxhall Astra, due to the fact that Vauxhall is solely sold in the UK market. But they may know the US version of the Astra as rebadged under the defunct Saturn brand. The Vauxhall Astra is also sold in other countries under their parent company, Opel’s brand name. Back to the build: overall, this is quite impressive, and even more so being that this is that_widebody_astra’s very first. Oh, and don’t forget the custom wide body kit fitment, as the Rocket Bunny kit was originally designed for a Silvia. The progress of the build is on hold at the moment, however, it is good to see that that_widebody_astra’s priorities are in order because education always comes first. We sure hope she can get this build back in progress. If you do too, go show her some love and drop her a like and follow via the link above.

A demon-eyed Jeep illuminates the dark as the last remaining light of dusk falls beneath the horizon. We love the effect of these aftermarket Gladiator lights, they create such a menacing silhouette of the Jeep at night. Make sure you drop La_diablo_99 a like and follow to thank him for sharing his ride.
