CAR OF THE WEEK

1967 Chevrolet El Camino owned by Don Fauerbach.

Check out the ride of the week! A classic 1967 Chevrolet El Camino with a four-speed manual gearbox and 327 horsepower engine. This is a pristine example with only 36,000 miles—that’s less than 800 miles a year! Don even has its original wheels and the hubcaps are still in GM boxes. He purchased the car from his neighbor, the original owner, in 1968 and has had it ever since. The car was refurbished in 1996 with all original GM parts and accessories. Since then, a meager 500 miles have been put on the clock. When Don’s not cruising around town, the car is stored under a soft cloth in a climate controlled garage and is only taken out in dry weather. Needless to say, if you’re in the market for some classic American muscle, this would be a perfect choice. Lucky for you, you have a chance to make it yours. Yup, that’s right! Don is actually selling his El Camino and hopes to pass the keys on to an enthusiast who appreciates it as much as he does. So if you’re looking for a sweet ride to cruise around in this summer, hit Don up on his MotorCrush profile.

MOD OF THE WEEK

Bilstein B14 PSS suspension on a 2012 Mini Cooper owned by Usiris VX9.

The Bilstein B14 coilover system allows for vehicle ride height adjustability so you can get your fitment dialed in (20mm range). It utilizes Bilstein’s mono-gas tube technology to retain full dampening power, even under extreme stress. Unlike many coilover systems, it does not allow for dampening adjustability, costing you a fraction of the price. If you’re looking to upgrade your ride’s handling, these coilovers are a great option. Make sure to drop Usiris a like for sharing his mod. Are you trying to figure out your next mod? Search for your make and model in the MotorCrush search bar. See how others are modifying theirs and even get search results for parts for sale.

CAR BIO OF THE WEEK

“Found this car on craigslist about 3 years ago in someone’s yard for 1,000 bucks. 3 years and nearly 20k dollars later I have my car.”

– Frank Scrudato on his 1987 Pontiac Trans Am.

Thanks for sharing your car bio with us, Frank! We commemorate you for bringing this Trans Am back to life. Even though it wasn’t cheap, we’re sure it was worth every penny. You’re keeping an 80s classic on the road for another generation to enjoy. Make sure to drop Frank a like and follow when you’re checking out his profile! Are you looking for your next project? Find it in the MotorCrush for sale listings, where enthusiasts just like you can sell their parts and vehicles.

DRIVER BIO OF THE WEEK

“I am a man who is getting into motorsports with my three sons.”

– Tom Warner.

We love it when a family gets into Motorsports together. It’s a great way to bond, and maybe even spark some sibling rivalry. If you guys are looking for track day events near you, try checking out the Live Feed Map and get one step closer to tearing up the tarmac with your sons. We have partnered with race tracks such as VIR and driving schools like LevelUp to bring Motorsports events to MotorCrush. When you find an event that you’re interested in attending, just click the website link to be redirected to the event registration page where you can sign up for the event. Curious to see what Tom will be driving on the track? Visit his MotorCrush profile to see his garage and make sure to give him a like while you’re there.

PIC OF THE WEEK

1973 Dodge 340 Demon owned by Kristopher Templin.

Stopping for a picture while cruising down country roads on a warm summer night. The car sits perched menacingly as dusk rolls in and darkness ensues, waiting to unleash the Demon upon the night. This awesome shot is courtesy of Kristopher Templin.
