We first met Doc, the owner of Diana the GTR, on Instagram after he reached out letting us know he loves our app. Since then, Doc has joined the MotorCrush brand ambassador team and Diana’s build has progressed immensely. She is even sporting a custom new iridescent paint job. No vinyl wrap to be found here, people. This week, Diana has been working her way up the trending feed and into this feature. You can also find her at shows all over Florida, including this weekend at I Love Driving Slow in Lakeland and the following at Wekfest in West Palm Beach. Don’t forget to give Diana a like and Doc a follow so you can see where the two will be checked-in next. Visit DianatheGTR’s MotorCrush profile via the “View In-App” link above.

FEATURED BUILD OF THE WEEK

1998 Chevy Corvette
Owned by Cody Jorgensen

DRIVER BIO: “My family and I live in Eagle Mountain UT. I’ve been a car enthusiast ever since I could drive. I like all sorts of cars as long as they aren’t held together with duct tape. Cars unite people!”

VEHICLE BIO: “I was building a 6.0 for my 1992 Corvette when this car showed up for sale. I did the math and the C5 was cheaper than it would have cost me to finish the C4. I cut my losses and made a move on the 98 and I have never looked back! This has been the most enjoyable and easiest to own vehicle I have had yet!”

UPGRADES: C6 Z06 sway bars, LS6 intake, C6 Z06 wheels, and muffle deletes.

We came across Cody’s C5 on Instagram (@redwhiteandblue_c5) after he shared a post of his custom American flag painted intake manifold. Our first impression was that the car is very clean, especially given that it is two decades old. After checking out Cody’s MotorCrush profile, we quickly learned that this C5 was much worse for wear before he got his hands on it. Along with body restoration, Cody also added some tasteful upgrades. Our favorite are the C6 Z06 wheels—they look great and give the car a much more modern feel. As always, don’t forget to thank Cody for sharing his build by dropping him a like via the link above.
