TRENDING RIDE OF THE WEEK
1977 Pontiac Trans Am
owned by Bscheit65 Brandon
DRIVER BIO: “My name is Brandon I grew up working on and selling cars with my dad and grandma who owns country classics in Iowa, if you’re looking for a good project muscle car check him out. I’m 22 but owned a 1986 Monte Carlo SS, 1996 Chevy Silverado z71, 1979 Camaro z28, 1980 Camaro z28, 1992 Blazer, 1991 Firebird, and now own my baby a 1977 Trans AM and my 2000 Silverado z71. Love talking and learning about cars. Huge Pontiac/ Chevy guy. Currently in Oceanside, CA. Originally from Lemars, Iowa.”
LAST ACTIVE IN: California
VEHICLE BIO: “Barn find. It was sitting for about 10 years in Iowa with only 40,000 miles on it. Started up first crank with a new battery. Has a Pontiac 400 6.6, mostly stock. I’ve been restoring it slowly but surely. Put an Edelbrock 650 carb with RPM intake, straight piped and dualed out but otherwise stock for now. I plan to rebuild the engine and rear end after that should be pushing around 450-500hp with over 500tq. She’s been on the hot rod power tour twice now. Love to race her, fun car. Thanks for looking.”
BUILD STATUS: 75%
ENGINE TYPE: Pontiac 400 6.6
TRANSMISSION: Turbo 350
MILEAGE: 80,000
UPGRADES: Straight piped with dual exhaust, reupholstered seats, K&N air filter, Edelbrock 650 cfm carb, slotted and drilled disc brakes, KYB performance shocks, Edelbrock lifted high rpm intake, upgraded ignition system, neon lights, egr delete, red halo headlights, Craiger SST rims on Cooper Cobra performance tires, and a Pioneer stereo system with 12 inch sub.
We spotted this gorgeous Trans Am on the trending feed and had to give it a shout out. Its paint job pops off the screen and that firebird logo screams retro hot rod. Not only does this car look like a hot rod, it performs like one too and after Brandon is finished with it, she will be even faster than she is now.
